Welcome to the

Religious Education Program!

Faith Formation Mission

To actively encourage and foster Catholic Education and spiritual formation to children of all ages in order to create a positive relationship with God and one another.

As a ministry, we are here to serve all the religious education needs of our children and youth. It is important to hear questions, concerns, new ideas, and suggestions from all involved in the Faith Formation program. Please feel free to share them with your child’s catechist or call the Faith Formation department at the parish office.

St. Anthony de Padua offers formation classes from Pre-Kinder (4 yrs.) to 12th grade. There are countless opportunities to assist and volunteer in our Religious Education Program. You may volunteer as a Catechist, in our Sacramental Preparation, on our Religious Education Committee, with our Children’s Liturgy Committee, our Special Events Committee or as an Administrative Assistant, parking lot attendant and in our Vacation Bible School.

Sacramental Preparation Programs are held throughout the school year. Special classes are given to enrich both the children and the parents, giving them a better understanding and appreciation for the Sacraments. The Sacramental Program includes the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.

Religious Education classes are held from September through May.
