
A. Adoration Chapel Trustees
Following the move and restoration of the Little Shrine to its present location, it was dedicated on December 6, 2003 and became officially known as Saint Anthony Adoration Chapel. Father Patrick O’Shea, Former Pastor of St. Anthony de Padua, appointed four members of the parish who had served as members of the Restoration Committee as Trustees of the newly established Irrevocable Trust Agreement, which governs Saint Anthony Adoration Chapel.
The Trust Agreement provides the Pastor will be one of the five Trustees and serve as a permanent member. The remaining Trustees are appointed to serve for a period of four years. As their term expires, the replacement is appointed by the Pastor.
The general duties of the Trustees are:
The St. Anthony Parish Festival Committee is comprised of 12 members led by two co-chairs. The Committee’s objective is to plan and organize the church’s annual festival held on the first Sunday in October to generate revenue while fostering community and fellowship among parishioners with a raffle, a rummage sale, food booths, games, and music.
C. Finance Council
The Finance Council is comprised of members from various professional backgrounds and varying age groups. The council is chartered with oversight of church revenue and expenditures, analyzing financial trends, approval of the annual church budget, development of short and long-term planning regarding capital improvements and reporting pertinent facts to the parishioners. Financial information is provided by the church’s staff accountant and is discussed at our monthly meeting. The council’s main objective is to keep the church solvent and to provide a financial path that will enable the church to grow and provide for all its members.

D. Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is a representative body of the parish and is called to enhance the quality and spirituality of parish life. The Pastoral Council’s role is to care for and discern the direction of the overall spiritual life, ministerial growth, and needs of the parish. The meetings are open to the parish community.

E. Plant Promotions Committee
The Plant Promotions Committee is comprised of members from diverse backgrounds and varying age groups. They are charged with the assessment and oversight of the parish facilities and general care of the plant. They provide professional and technical advice regarding building and plant projects for the parish. Meetings are held on an “as needed” basis.

F. Liturgy Committee
The Liturgy Committee Meets regularly to learn and share insights with one another about liturgy and to prayerfully reflect on the importance of inspiring liturgical celebrations. The Liturgy Committee also provides educational and formational materials regarding liturgy and worship through the bulletin, etc.
