XI. Adult Faith Formation Ministry
The mission of the Adult Faith Formation Ministry is to continue the religious education of adult Catholics, to aid in their spiritual formation, and to help them to apply the tenets of their faith to current moral problems.
We do this by offering courses in scripture, church history, the Catholic Catechism, and lectures from noted and learned speakers in their area of expertise. A series of films, which compliment the lectures, is shown monthly.
The Adult Faith Formation Ministry meets monthly on the third Thursday at 7:00 PM in the library. Interested parishioners are welcome to attend.
A. RCIA Journey in Faith

B. Meditation Group
“Be Still and Know that I am God”. Taking time to gather together gives us a glimpse of the promise of the “Peace that surpasses Understanding.” Learning the discipline of quieting the mind and emptying oneself makes room for the Spirit to be more immediately present as we seek guidance. The Meditation Group meets in the Parlor on Friday mornings at 10:30 AM.
C.. ACTS Retreats
ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service. These four themes are the main focus of the ACTS Retreat Weekends. Both Men’s and Women’s retreats are offered yearly.
D. Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is a worldwide practice of the Catholic faithful. This ministry provides an opportunity for anyone to spend time of prayer and meditation in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed in a monstrance. Adoration is available and open to all parish members.
